SV	Doch hij zeide: Gij zult hen niet slaan; zoudt gij ook slaan, die gij met uw zwaard en met uw boog gevangen hadt? Zet hun brood en water voor, dat zij eten en drinken, en tot hun heer trekken.
WLC	וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לֹ֣א תַכֶּ֔ה הַאֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁבִ֛יתָ בְּחַרְבְּךָ֥ וּֽבְקַשְׁתְּךָ֖ אַתָּ֣ה מַכֶּ֑ה שִׂים֩ לֶ֨חֶם וָמַ֜יִם לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם וְיֹֽאכְלוּ֙ וְיִשְׁתּ֔וּ וְיֵלְכ֖וּ אֶל־אֲדֹנֵיהֶֽם׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer lō’ ṯakeh ha’ăšer šāḇîṯā bəḥarəbəḵā ûḇəqašətəḵā ’atâ makeh śîm leḥem wāmayim lifənêhem wəyō’ḵəlû wəyišətû wəyēləḵû ’el-’ăḏōnêhem:

AC	כב ויאמר לא תכה האשר שבית בחרבך ובקשתך אתה מכה שים לחם ומים לפניהם ויאכלו וישתו וילכו אל אדניהם
ASV	And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.
BE	But he said in answer, You are not to put them to death; have you any right to put to death those whom you have not taken prisoner with your sword and your bow? put bread and water before them, so that they may have food and drink and go to their master.
Darby	And he said, Thou shalt not smite [them]: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.
ELB05	Aber er sprach: Du sollst nicht schlagen. Würdest du die schlagen, welche du mit deinem Schwerte und mit deinem Bogen gefangen genommen hättest? Setze ihnen Brot und Wasser vor, daß sie essen und trinken und dann zu ihrem Herrn ziehen.
LSG	Tu ne frapperas point, répondit Elisée; est-ce que tu frappes ceux que tu fais prisonniers avec ton épée et avec ton arc? Donne-leur du pain et de l'eau, afin qu'ils mangent et boivent; et qu'ils s'en aillent ensuite vers leur maître.
Sch	Er sprach: Du sollst sie nicht schlagen! Würdest du die, welche du mit deinem Schwert und mit deinem Bogen gefangen nimmst, schlagen? Setze ihnen Brot und Wasser vor, daß sie essen und trinken und zu ihrem Herrn ziehen!
